Thanks to you, Svetlana received the necessary rehabilitation

Svetlana is 50 years old, and until last April she led an active and varied life, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. The woman and her husband were driving home along a familiar road when suddenly a moose jumped out onto the roadway. From the impact Svetlana lost consciousness, and from her injuries fell into a coma. Doctors diagnosed a closed head injury, severe brain contusion, ventricular hemorrhage and various fractures.

Svetlana spent almost a month in a coma. Gradually she began to breathe on her own and respond to the voices of her relatives. After the installation of a special shunt, the woman began to open her eyes, focus her gaze, recognize others and follow commands.

The doctors explained: in the first year after the injury it is important to start neuro-motor rehabilitation as soon as possible. Svetlana is very much needed by her adult children, who are making every effort to help her mom recover. All the family's savings were spent on previous treatment.
