For nearly 10 years, the Second Wind Foundation has been collecting clothing that might otherwise end up in landfills — but instead becomes a source of help. We manually sort donated items and distribute them to those who truly need them: large and single-parent families, elderly people with small pensions, people with disabilities, and others in need. Every month, thanks to our work, more than 10,000 people receive essential clothing.
To keep this system running, we need collection containers. These containers are the first step in the process — they allow us to gather clothing and transport it to our Sorting Center, where each item gets a second life. One container can collect up to 25 tons of clothing per year — enough to support around 4,000 people.
We are currently raising funds to install three new containers in areas where they are most needed. Part of the funds will also go toward renting our Sorting Center, where donated clothing is carefully sorted and matched to the specific needs of our beneficiaries.
New containers will help us collect more clothing, conserve resources, and support even more people.
With your help, we can continue this vital work.
