In June of this year, her mother and the girl went for a control ultrasound, which revealed an unknown formation in the abdominal cavity. Anya felt well, she did not complain about anything. The family was shocked and could not believe that the girl was suspected of having an oncological diagnosis. After a surgeon's examination, Anechka was hospitalized, an MRI scan confirmed the presence of a tumor. The mother and the baby were sent to Moscow, to the Pirogov Republican Clinical Hospital.
