Azalia completed the rehabilitation course!

The fundraising campaign was launched for Sonya — a girl with a congenital disease of the brain and spinal cord. Thanks to the support of Tooba users, we managed to raise funds for the necessary rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, due to her health condition, Sonya was unable to complete the planned course. To ensure that the funds raised would not go to waste and could help a child who needed rehabilitation at that very time, we used them to pay for the course for Azalia.

Azalia is 12 years old. The girl has a complex congenital neurological disease that affects the musculoskeletal system. She spent the first seven years of her life in an orphanage, and a few years ago she found a family. Her parents are constantly concerned with her health and development.

Tooba users have helped Azalia with rehabilitation costs on more than one occasion. Thanks to regular sessions, the girl has become much better at walking on her own.

The funds raised through this campaign helped pay for another course of Azalia’s rehabilitation. The sessions are necessary to consolidate the results already achieved, strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and help the girl become more independent.
