The Second Breath Foundation helps elderly people in difficult situations by providing them with clothing and footwear. For many of them, this is not only a matter of comfort, but also an opportunity to stay healthy and survive the cold season.
Olga Pavlovna has had a difficult life: the death of loved ones, the loss of her passport and her home. She once had a family and a home, but today she finds it difficult even to go outside. In winter, she can only go out onto the porch, and even then only in warm clothes, without which it is impossible. At the shelter, she helps with cooking and managing the general budget, tries to remain optimistic, but admits that support and warm clothes are vital for her.
We are currently raising funds to rent the centre, pay for a porter, and cover logistics costs to prepare and send warm clothes and shoes to more than 2,000 elderly people. By supporting this fundraiser, you will not only give them protection from the cold, but also the confidence that they are not alone.
