The Second Wind Foundation is preparing a Support Day for participants in the Halfway House project, a program that helps homeless women undergoing rehabilitation from addiction.
Alexandra is 47 years old. Her entire wardrobe fits into a small bag, but when it comes to clothes, she lights up: she dreams of a jacket, a pencil skirt, and a voluminous sweater. For her, new clothes are not a whim, but a chance to feel dignified, find a job, and return to society.
On Support Day, stylists will help Alexandra and other women choose outfits, makeup artists and hairstylists will create new looks for them, and a photographer will capture the day in beautiful pictures. This is not just a celebration: the opportunity to see themselves differently helps them gain confidence, believe in change, and stay on the path to a new life.
We are raising funds to pay for the work of stylists, makeup artists, hairstylists, and photographers, as well as part of the salary of a charity program employee. Thanks to this, six women will receive not only clothes and photographs, but also the important experience of care, acceptance, and support.
