New wards arrive at the Devoted Heart shelter every month. Many are weakened, with cold symptoms. After treatment, they need protection, otherwise they may get sick again.
Vaccination is a way to protect cats from dangerous infections: panleukopenia, calicivirus, viral rhinotracheitis. These viruses are easily transmitted. And in a shelter with more than 500 tailed animals, the risk is especially high. Without vaccination, the disease can spread instantly.
After treatment and stabilization of the condition, we will definitely vaccinate the animals. This is the only way to protect their health and prevent outbreaks of infections.
We are opening a collection for 75 doses of vaccines — this is protection for 75 kittens and adult cats who have not yet found their home.
