Umar has a delay in psychomotor development, ADHD, and mixed dysarthria. From an early age, his parents noticed that Umar was different from his peers. He disliked crowded places and struggled to express his feelings verbally. Pointing and speaking were beyond his reach, creating additional challenges in his interactions with the world around him.
Over the past five years, his family has done a tremendous job: steps have been taken for treatment, nootropics, stimulation, and gastrointestinal treatment have been used. And the results have not been long in coming! Umar has started to communicate, he has started to show interest in active games and he enjoys studying from books. However, he still quickly loses interest and has difficulties in communication.
To develop speech skills and improve understanding of the world around him, Umar needs to undergo an intensive rehabilitation course with specialized professionals.
