Umar is 17 years old. He has cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
For many years, he lived with severe seizures that occurred up to 20 times a day and had a serious impact on his condition.
Two years ago, Umar underwent a unique brain hemisphere separation surgery. It helped stop the seizures and gave him a chance for a more peaceful and stable life.
Now, Umar needs special and complex glasses. They are needed not only for vision correction, but also for rehabilitation: they help to navigate in space, perceive the world around and continue to learn. Without them, it is significantly more difficult for him to move and interact with the environment.
Mom raises Umar and his younger sister alone, and she cannot purchase such glasses on her own.
Support the collection for special glasses for Umar! Your help will help him to see better, navigate more confidently and continue to recover from a difficult operation.
