So that she can run errands, go to the hospital, the store, or even just for a walk, they need a nanny—Vanya can't be left home alone. The only way for his mother to leave the house is with the help of a nanny, Oksana, who is paid for by the foundation. She can't afford to pay for a nanny on her own.
