Volodya has a serious condition since birth – Spina Bifida. The first hernia surgery was performed when he was only 1 month old. Since then his whole life has been a daily struggle.

Volodya is now 5 years old and the ability to walk is his most cherished dream and goal, which he fights for every day. The boy cannot stand or walk on his own. His world is an active wheelchair, special devices and walkers. But Volodya does not give up: he learns to stand and takes his first, incredibly difficult steps. The boy constantly needs to train his leg muscles, otherwise they may atrophy. He is also hindered by contractures of the knee joints, which prevent his legs from straightening properly.

In 2025 Volodya underwent complex surgeries on his knees and spine. After such surgical interventions the boy needs vital rehabilitation courses to recover and learn new skills and abilities. Without sessions with specialists, all the doctors' efforts may be in vain. Only together with you we can give this boy a real chance to get back on his feet.

Your contribution will also help partially pay the work of Movement Up Foundation administration staff.
