Zlata lives with Cerebral Palsy and co-occurring conditions: help the girl undergo a rehabilitation course!

Zlata is the second child in the family. The delivery involved complications: umbilical cord entanglement, hypoxia, and grade II intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). Later, the girl began having daily seizures. Following tests and examinations, she was diagnosed with epileptic encephalopathy caused by a mutation in the SPTAN1 gene and Cerebral Palsy. Her co-occurring diagnoses include surgically treated bilateral cataracts, thyroid disease, and scoliosis.

Now Zlata is 8 years old. This year, she entered the first grade at a specialized school for children with musculoskeletal disorders. Zlata has learned to sit independently, is starting to speak, and loves communicating.

To learn how to stand and walk, the girl needs regular rehabilitation with specialists experienced in working with rare genetic conditions. Her mother is raising two children on her own and is asking for help covering the cost of the course: let's support the family!
