The program's goal is to provide these families with basic food supplies and help them pay off debts incurred at nearby grocery stores.

The program includes monthly food distribution drives with the help of volunteers. The main principle of the "STOP Hunger" program is that assistance is temporary, to avoid fostering dependency. This means that assistance will be provided for a specific period of time, allowing families to restore their financial stability and provide for themselves.
