Khasan is 10 years old. His story is one of great struggle and hope. The boy did not understand spoken language, developed stereotypical movements, and echolalia (repetition of heard words). When Khasan was five, he was diagnosed with delayed psychoverbal development. By the age of nine, doctors clarified the diagnosis—now it is moderate intellectual disability. Every three months, his grandmother takes her grandson to rehabilitation courses, combining help from state centers with sessions with private specialists.
This long journey has required tremendous effort, but it has brought results. Now, in order to consolidate what has been achieved and move forward, Khasan needs another course of rehabilitation. Unfortunately, all resources have already been exhausted, as his grandmother is raising her grandson alone—she cannot afford to pay for this course.
Let’s give the boy a chance for the future together! Your support will help him get through this important stage.
