Sonya Devyatova managed to get the parcel and even started taking medicine to keep her heart working, but the disease was stronger. We managed to close the collection. However, the 17-year-old Sonya's heart gave out and stopped. The doctors could not save her.

Sonya's disease (pulmonary arterial hypertension) is considered incurable, but it is possible to live with it. It requires taking a lot of pills every day. When the medications prescribed by doctors stopped working for Sonya, there was only one hope - for an expensive medicine. It was possible to get it for free from the government, but it was a long process. Sonya's mom immediately began to prepare the necessary documents, and we opened a collection to insure her daughter for the coming months.

And now the cherished medicine is already in the family. The medication was started. There was hope for a stabilization of the heart rhythm...

Friends, we did everything possible: we closed the collection on time, we sent the medicine, and we believed we had bought time for Sonya. This time we didn't make it.

But all we do is not in vain. There are many, many children who need our help and who, like Sonya, really want to live. And they still have a chance.
