During birth Dina suffered from asphyxia (acute lack of air, caused by compression of the airways). Doctors immediately connected the girl to artificial lung ventilation and took her to intensive care.

When the baby was 2.5 months old, she faced spasticity (uncontrollable tension or muscle contraction) in her arms and legs and the doctors confirmed the threat of cerebral palsy.

Dina has a preserved intellect, she knows and understands a lot, but physical rehabilitation is much more difficult for her.
