Thanks to you, the Vita shelter now has lockers for storing the belongings of its employees!

Yaroslavl shelter for dogs "Vita" does not officially exist. "Vita" is more than 10 years old name of a cluster of old enclosures and a motley company of 150 dogs. There were no permanent employees, no administrator, just volunteer helpers. They turned to Fidelity for help, and since November 2022 we have been overseeing the shelter. A lot of effort went into finding resources and bringing together people who cared. Now the pets are stroked, fed and walked every day. And most importantly - they got dog handlers. That is how we call the employees who take care of the dogs every day. Sick old people are helped by babysitters. We are equipping the shelter literally from scratch, there was no veterinary clinic, the buildings do not know repair, from the territory removed more than a hundred (still can not understand why so much!) tons of garbage. And the buildings themselves are not in order yet. We encountered a problem - the counselors have nowhere to safely leave their personal belongings during the workday. There is no fence, money has disappeared, twice we called the police - unknown people enter the territory without asking, one night they opened the enclosures with 20 dogs in them. The shelter needs lockers to store personal items and the uniforms of the permanent staff - dog handlers, nannies, administrator, as well as important documents.
