2-year-old Adam has epidermolysis bullosa, an inherited skin condition that causes wounds at the slightest touch. A severe dystrophic form of the disease affects not only the skin, but also the mucous membranes.

The baby could not be diagnosed at birth, the mother did not know how to properly care for the wounds. She used sea buckthorn oil and ordinary bandages, which only made Adam feel worse.

At 2 months Adam was in intensive care. Only there the doctors were able to establish the correct diagnosis and told the family about the Butterfly Children Foundation.
