Lidiya Iovna is 71 years old, she was born in the city of Velikie Luki, where she lives her whole life. Old woman lives in a hardship, in a hut-type house, without amenities. Although the housing has been recognized as hazardous, the residents are still waiting in line for resettlement. Our ward has numerous health problems, including heart and joint issues. That's why more than half of her pension of 14,000 rubles goes towards medications and treatment. Despite all the difficulties, Lidiya Iovna remains a very positive person. "My hobby is helping people," she says. In the house where she lives, there are even older neighbors in their 80s and 90s. Lidiya Iovna helps them as much as she can, buying groceries for some, paying their bills for others. Additionally, she takes care of her disabled sister. We can support Lidiya Iovna and other seniors in difficult situations and make their lives a little easier. Sometimes, life's challenges can't be faced alone. That's why we need your support. With the funds raised, we will buy 100 large grocery sets and distribute them to the homes of grandmothers and grandfathers in three districts of the Pskov region – Opochetsky, Nevelsky, and Pustoshkinsky. The most needy wards live there – elderly seniors with minimum pensions who are alone and lack support.
