Azamat Garafutdinov was born prematurely and immediately was put on a mechanical ventilation. For two whole years he could not return home - he lived with his mother in hospitals.
Now Azamat is 3 years old. He does not hold his head, does not sit, does not hear, does not see and does not react to anything. And if he puts his fingers in his mouth, his mom understands that this is not because he wants to eat. This is the way another epilepsy seizure starts.
In order to bath Azamat, his mother has to ask someone for help. It is impossible to hold him alone - due to muscle tone the back bends backward, the head throws back, and the child literally slips out of one’s hands.
Doctors recommend purchasing a special chair for bathing children with cerebral palsy. But the family simply does not have that kind of money.
We cannot cure Azamat, but we can make life easier for him and his mother. The Garafutdinovs need our support!
