Mila and other special wards of the shelter are provided with therapeutic food!

A special dog Mila, who received a spinal cord injury after being hit by a car, has been living in Penza veterinary center "Pitomez" for 6 years. Mila uses a wheelchair, loves life and is surrounded by the care of the staff. As long as there is a foundation and kind people her life is safe! Mila is not the only injured animal at the center, hundreds of sick animals are cared for here.

An especially important part of treatment is the use of specialized therapeutic feeds, which are formulated to meet the unique needs of sick or rehabilitating animals. The therapeutic feed is more easily digested by animals with compromised health, which helps them recover more quickly, and the animals are given it with specific diseases or needs in mind, such as food allergies, joint disease, kidney disease and others. Today, the foundation is asking for support to purchase such food for the coming month for 10 special wards.
