In September 2023, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck Morocco, the worst in 120 years. Thanks to your generous support, funds were raised to help those who were left without family and friends during this tragic moment.

Zakat Foundation together with Hayat Yulu Foundation purchased food packages, blankets, mattresses for the victims.

We express our deep gratitude to all those who donated funds to help the victims of the earthquake in Morocco. Your kind heart and willingness to help made our relief efforts possible and provided irreplaceable support to those in need. Thank you for your generosity and compassion for those in need.

Earthquake victims in Morocco urgently need tents for temporary accommodation and food packages

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck Morocco on Friday evening. The earthquake was the strongest to hit Morocco in 120 years, and such natural disasters are relatively rare in North Africa. From different parts of the world, people want to help financially and provide support to those who were suddenly left without family and friends.

Today, the greatest needs are tents for people for temporary accommodation and food packages

How exactly the help is provided: 1. You help through Tooba 2. Tooba immediately transfers funds to the Zakat fund through the payment provider 3. Zakat, with its partner fund Hayat Yolu, organizes the procurement and distribution of assistance locally

Neither the fund nor the application includes commission into this project
