Thanks to you, the "Nika" foundation has purchased everything necessary to start the floor repairs at the animal shelter!

Nika

Charitable foundation • Moscow

Thanks to your support, we have successfully raised funds to purchase decking for the "Nika" foundation shelter. This important upgrade will help ensure comfort and warmth for hundreds of animals, especially during the cold seasons.

In one of the shelters of the "Nika" foundation, several hundred animals live. Some quickly find new homes, but most cats and dogs stay in the shelter for a long time before finding a family. Maintaining the shelter is particularly challenging during the autumn and winter months. Therefore, we decided to lay decking, which is not only moisture-resistant and heat-retaining but also extremely durable, ensuring the longevity of the flooring.

Funds for the decking itself were raised, but we also needed various fittings. Thanks to your help, we were able to purchase all the necessary materials. Now our furry friends will live in comfort and warmth for many years to come.

Thank you for your support and care for the animals!

Campaign information

The shelter needs floor repairs to ensure a comfortable stay for the animals during the winter!

Several hundred animals live in one of the shelters of the Nika Foundation. There are lucky ones who do not stay long and quickly go home, but this is rather the exception to the rule. Most cats and dogs live in a shelter for a long time before finding a family.

Running a shelter with homeless animals is not easy. Of course, the most difficult time is autumn and winter. Not long ago we decided to repair the floor by laying decking boards.

Why deck board? First of all, it is moisture resistant - it can rid all rooms of dampness and keep warm in winter. Secondly, it is very durable - such a floor will last at least 25 years.

We are currently collecting funds for the decking board itself, but various components are still needed for this coating. We are now raising funds for these components.

Friends, let's help animals live in comfort in cold weather for many years to come!
