You can't spoil the porridge with meat - 140 pets of the Yaroslavl shelter "Vita" know this for sure, and with the beginning of cold weather they are switching to hot meals. They are already waiting for the second full winter.
In the scale of the 11-year history of the shelter it is not enough, the pets have gone through difficult times. But the changes are already noticeable - the summer was spent in walking and bathing, many pets are no longer afraid of people and welcome them happily. In the summer the dogs ate dry food - a little more than 2 tons per month, some are forced to sit on a diet - the menu depends on the diagnosis.
Now preparations for winter are in full swing. In winter it is critical to feed the pets hot porridge - so they warm themselves and get sick less often. The shelter has a stock of dry and wet food, volunteers bring meat, for the storage of which they managed to buy a new refrigerator. It remains to buy buckwheat and rice.
The shelter needs more than 3,000 packs of groats per day, and for the cold season the shelter needs more than 3,000 packs.
Let's help buy buckwheat and rice to keep the dogs warm and nourished during the winter!
