Azamat successfully had a benign brain tumor removed

On June 11, Azamat underwent neurosurgery to remove a tumor on his brain - stereotactic endoscopic laser deconnection of hamartoma of the 3rd ventricle. The tumor provoked epileptic seizures, developmental delays and uncontrollable behavior. The operation went well. The neurosurgeon who operated said that it turned out better than he expected. After the operation, the mother was concerned about the swelling of her son's face, but this turned out to be a natural reaction of the body to such a surgical intervention. After some time, the swelling subsided. Azamat is undergoing the necessary drug treatment. Six months after the operation, a control examination is required: EEG and MRI. In the meantime, the boy is studying with a speech therapist-defectologist. Such activities help improve the development of children who, for some reason, were lagging behind.
