Islam is a kind, positive and smiling boy. He is 13 years old. He likes to play board games and enjoys playing with cars and soldiers.

Islam has a rare brain disease called moya moya. It is a progressive disease that causes all the blood vessels in the brain to narrow and completely close over time. Islam suffers from frequent headaches and leg pains. There is a deterioration of memory and delayed psycho-verbal development. There have been microstrokes of the brain. During his young age the boy has undergone many operations: two of them on the brain.

Islam has undergone several courses of rehabilitation, after which the boy is showing positive dynamics. The pain syndrome has decreased and his speech has improved. Islam needs another course of rehabilitation to consolidate the result and learn new skills.

Islam's mum is bringing up her son alone. She does not have the financial ability to pay for the upcoming expenses. By joining forces, we can help them!
