After orphanages eighteen-year-old orphans with disabilities are automatically enrolled in an adult residential care network. They are going to spend the rest of their lives there.
The Giving Back the Future project helps orphanage graduates with disabilities learn to live independently.
Mastering skills takes time and perseverance. In the training apartments, young men and women learn to cook, store, and pay utility bills on their own. This is taught by the specialists of assisted living, who not only help them to master household skills and cope with psychological problems, but also help them to sort out their education, profession, health and housing.
Some of the participants of the project "Give Back the Future" will need support throughout their lives: some will need it a couple times a week, some once a month. But in any case it will be a free life with the right to make decisions, not a monotonous life in an orphanage.
Let's support 17 graduates of boarding schools for children and adults with disabilities, so that they will not spend their whole life in a boarding school, but will be able to regain their future.
