Every sixth family in Russia cannot afford to buy clothes and shoes. The Second Breath Charitable Foundation collects clothes and donates them to large families, the elderly and anyone else who needs support.
Now we are preparing a humanitarian shipment for 900 families - we pack seasonal shoes, clothes for children and their parents, comfortable things for the elderly. These things need to be delivered to 3 regions - Ivanovo, Yaroslavl and Kostroma regions, and your donations will help us to pay for this transportation.
Our truck will make stops in small towns where there are Help Centers - the only place where low-income families can dress a child or find a necessary thing for themselves. For seniors and people with disabilities, it's also the only hope of getting seasonal clothing.
People lose their jobs, face illnesses, fire is also a common reason for needing household items and new clothes. Different circumstances can make their families vulnerable. When a person has clothes, they feel comfortable and protected. This is especially important for people who find themselves in difficult situations.
