It is very important for lonely elderly people to feel needed and to see care for themselves. They need help and attention. Due to health-related limitations, older people are unable to take care of themselves adequately. They need help in many different ways, from essential food and medicines to everyday household chores and simple companionship. Many people find it difficult to walk to the shop or carry heavy groceries, or to move around the house. Within the framework of the project "We are near" volunteers of the Foundation visit them to measure their blood pressure, buy necessary medicines and food, clean the house and prepare meals. Volunteers do their best to surround elderly people with attention and care, to solve urgent problems and provide for their current needs. Friends! By supporting our collection, you will help to buy food packages for six months and necessary medicines for 33 lonely elderly people. Let's take care of the older generation together!
