Summer is coming and as part of our project “Adaptation shifts for the development of social skills” we are planning nature trips. Last summer's field shifts showed good results. Volunteers taught children how to light a fire and pitch a tent. The children cooked their own food over the fire and set the table. The attendants washed dishes and collected wood for the fire. We received a lot of positive feedback from parents after these trips. Children began to help their parents at home.
There are routes when we cannot cook food on the fire along the way and it would be convenient for children to take a ready-made warm snack in containers with them. We prepared food and went on a camping trip. But by the time we got there, our food was already cold. While hiking, we realized that our children did not have enough thermal dishes and thermal mugs for travel. And for cooking, a pot and a kettle are very necessary.
We ask tubers to help us purchase the necessary things for our hikes so that our children can have hot meals.
