Ira didn't immediately realize that she was sick. She used to work a lot, so she put her bad feeling down to fatigue. But then her temperature rose, and white spots began to appear in front of her eyes. A couple of times Ira even fainted. She took a vacation and ended up just sleeping the whole time. Then Ira decided to take tests and heard the word "leukemia" for the first time.
In February, she received a bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor. Although the transplant took root, there are not enough donor cells. This could lead to an early relapse.
To prevent the cancer from returning, Ira needs a transfusion of donor lymphocytes. Fortunately, the donor agrees to the procedure, but it is too much for Ira to pay. Because of her illness, the girl cannot work, and from her relatives she has only elderly parents. Ira dreams of getting better and providing them with a trouble-free old age, but for now she needs support herself!
