Children in an orphanage often cannot come to terms with the fact that their parents left them; this is especially acute in adolescence. The child develops a whole tangle of contradictory and difficult feelings: a feeling of betrayal, a feeling of guilt, a desire to harm himself and others. Even the love and care of adoptive parents is often not enough: such children get used to the fact that adults cannot be trusted, and therefore sometimes they are unable to accept their adoptive parents as their own.
The foundation's psychologists help such children, in a safe group setting, understand that there are other children with similar problems. And most importantly, feel supported. Children have similar problems, which is why it is easier to discuss them in a group and find a solution together. The foundation's psychologists know how to help children because they have education and experience in this topic.
Please help children attend group classes with a psychologist and socialize! Thanks to you, 10 children will be able to attend 12 group classes over 3 months.
