Due to prematurity, Omina has retinopathy eye disease. After surgeries, the strabismus gradually went away and the girl began to see light. To preserve the eye as an organ, Omina needed another operation. The operation was urgently needed six months ago - since then one of Omina's eyes has become smaller than the other. Thanks to you, the operation took place - the doctors continued to spread the retina and create conditions for the retinal vessels to grow. So there is still a chance for Omina to improve her vision. After a few months, the picture will become clearer, and doctors will decide on the further tactics of treatment of Omina's eyes. The remaining funds from the surgery were used to partially pay for the operation against strabismus for Makar - he has hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy, so the traditional surgery under OMC is contraindicated for him. The boy underwent a chemodenervation procedure - the angle of strabismus became smaller, but his eyes are not yet level, as this was the first stage of surgical treatment.
