Our foundation assists 79 lonely elderly individuals whose old age has been challenging. Their health is weakened, they lack funds for basic necessities, but the greatest trial for our seniors has become loneliness.
The foundation has initiated a project to deliver meals and grocery kits to the homes of isolated pensioners. Forty-four elderly individuals with fragile health receive daily hot meals from our kitchen, while 34 seniors receive weekly grocery kits. These individuals cannot meet their basic needs due to a small pension, but they are still capable of handling some aspects of their daily lives. They move around their homes and can prepare meals for themselves; they just need assistance in ensuring they don't go hungry.
Our social couriers deliver the hot meals or grocery kits, carefully monitoring the seniors' issues, providing assistance around the house, and, most importantly, easing their loneliness with attention and care.
This project will enable us to deliver grocery kits to the homes of 17 elderly individuals in need. Let's join forces to provide nourishment to these lonely seniors.
