At such moments, "guest families" come to the rescue. These are ordinary people who have been trained at the foundation and have agreed to accept children for a while if their parents cannot do this. We train guest families, accompany them and provide support to blood parents so that adult problems are invisible to children. A "guest family" is an alternative to temporary placement of children in orphanages or orphanages.
"Now there are four children in my guest family: boys-brothers from 2 to 7 years old — the most interesting, funny, humorous age. I've had them for three months now. We became friends, got used to each other. Of course, they feel good at home. It is simply impossible to imagine them in a shelter," says Olga Pavlovna, a guest mother.
The guest family pays special attention to maintaining the child's relationship with his blood relatives, children have the opportunity to meet with their parents, call on video and visit each other at a party. The holistic world of the child is not violated, the project allows children to experience difficult situations in their lives as separation, without receiving the trauma of losing a blood family.
"The boys are already calling me "granny" affectionately and tenderly, of course, I am very pleased — it is such a joy when the kids treat you well. They are now saying to me: "Grandma, we will go to mom, but we will come to visit you, we will definitely come," says Olga Pavlovna.
We pay for the "work" of the guest parents and the expenses for the maintenance of the child — this is 17,000 rubles per month. Now 13 children live in 7 families, you can help them and other children not to get into the shelter.
