Jaylene, her first and long-awaited child, was born 13 weeks prematurely and developed aggressive retinopathy of prematurity. Four surgeries in her home country failed. Jaylene can only distinguish by the light of a flashlight.
The baby has a chance to see, for this she needs to fly to St. Petersburg for surgery. For a citizen of another country, the operation will be paid, but her mother will not be able to pay for the operation - she is raising her daughter with a disability alone. After learning about the diagnosis, her father left the family, but her mother continues to fight for Jaylene's health. For her, surgery in Russia is a chance for her daughter's health. This is the first time mom is asking for help.
In July, Jaylene will be two years old. Let's give the little girl a chance to save and improve her eyesight as much as possible!
