Doctors in Dagestan thought that the boy simply had a cold. Islam could not accurately describe his condition. The boy was not getting better, the lymph node in his neck was not shrinking, and he urgently passed a medical examination. It turned out that the boy had a malignant tumor.
Islam is under surveillance of medics in the hematology department of the National Medical Research Center of Oncology in Moscow. The operation is over and the boy is undergoing chemotherapy course. He uses a wheelchair because he doesn’t feel well due to the side effects of the chemotherapy.
The boy needs help in every little detail so the nanny of our foundation is always next to him. She follows all the doctors’ recommendations and simply stays nearby when Islam feels bad.
