11-year-old Rukhshona learned how to form sentences correctly and not to confuse endings in words, and her mother received qualified recommendations on how to work with her daughter independently at home. Thank you for supporting the girl and giving her the opportunity to improve her speech at the rehabilitation center for children after cochlear implantation.
Rukhshona started to hear for the first time only at the age of 7.5 when she received cochlear implants. But hearing is one thing, speaking is another. Rukhshona is far behind her peers in her speech development, and she will not be able to speak without the help of specialists.
- Thank you to everyone who helped my daughter get to the auditory-verbal rehabilitation,” says Manzoor's mother. - It was two unforgettable weeks. Classes with speech therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists took Rukhshona over the edge. She had never practiced with such dedication and attention.
Already at home her parents saw the results of this work. Rukhshona stopped being afraid of large texts in a book. She became better at reading and retelling what she had read. But the most valuable thing: she learned to make short stories about what happened to her, where she was or what she plans to do. Manzoora used to spend hours trying to get every word out of her daughter to find out how her day at school went. Now Rukhshona herself tells her mother not only about her grades and friends, but can also describe her own emotions. Her relatives are very happy about this.
