Christian has had a checkup!

Christian is only 8 years old, but he is already sure he will be a biologist when he grows up. His mom says that her son loves reading books about plants and looking at the pictures in them. Wishing to support the boy's interest, his parents even gave him a microscope. In February this year, Christian was diagnosed with a tumor. The boy has undergone surgery and several courses of chemotherapy. Christian is a real fighter, he is not discouraged and endures difficult treatment. Recently he went on an excursion to the V.A. Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the boy was delighted with the laboratory and spent several days telling his mother about what he had seen. Unfortunately, now the tumor does not respond to chemo and Christian needs an expensive study, with the help of which doctors will be able to choose the most effective treatment. Christian has a chance to fulfill his dream and become a biologist, but first he needs to get well.
