Prospective foster parents completed training as part of the “Take Me Home” project

Thanks to you and the Foster Parent School, 31 candidates have completed the full foster parent training program. This means that 31 families have gained the necessary knowledge and training to welcome a child into their home. Participants mastered key topics: the specifics of raising children with traumatic experiences, building trust, fostering commitment to treatment, and skills for supporting a child’s emotional well-being. The knowledge and practical tools they gained enable prospective parents to navigate the child’s adjustment phase with greater confidence and create a safe, supportive environment within the family. Most importantly, thanks to this work, children have a real chance of being placed with prepared, informed families who can accept and support them and provide a stable future. None of this would have been possible without the support of Tooba users. Thanks to you, the project’s specialists are guiding families on the path to one of the most important events in a child’s life: finding a family.
