Veronica is now a little over a year old, she has convergent strabismus in both eyes - this is a disorder in which the eyeballs are deflected inward. This diagnosis was made to the girl at the age of 2 months, at 3 months Veronica began to wear special glasses, but her eyesight still continued to deteriorate.
Veronica's ophthalmologist says: "Over time, strabismus will increase, which will lead to the development of amblyopia - a "lazy eye" and an even greater decrease in vision. The child needs surgery to correct strabismus in several stages. After the operation, Veronica will be given a high chance to improve her visual acuity."
To regain visual acuity, Veronica must undergo a series of operations using chemodenervation technology. This procedure is not yet included in the CHI system, and the girl's family cannot pay for it on their own, so they had to turn to us for help.
Let's support Veronica's family and help the girl improve her eyesight!
