You’ve helped Matin to get through another course of chemotherapy

Two–year-old Matin is a cheerful boy with a radiant smile. He loves to play with cars, watch cartoons and go on walks with his mother outside. About six months ago, Matin's family noticed that he had become very restless – the boy was acting up and crying much more than usual. He also began to stagger while walking, and would often fall down. Because of these alarming symptoms, his parents decided to go to the hospital, where Matin was diagnosed with a brain tumor and hydrocephalus after receiving an MRI scan. The boy underwent surgery to remove the tumor and install a bypass system to regulate the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. In addition, doctors installed an Ommaya reservoir, a device for injecting medication directly into the ventricles of the patient's brain. This was followed by chemotherapy courses, one of which the Foundation had previously paid for thanks to the support of users of the Tooba platform.
