Muhammadyusuf is the firstborn in the family. He is seven months old. His mother is 20 years old. At the 28th week of pregnancy, labor began unexpectedly. The newborn baby was taken to intensive care and spent forty days on a ventilator.
Early birth had a negative impact on the boy's health. His vision suffered the most.
Only five months after birth, doctors diagnosed baby Muhammadyusuf with stage V retinopathy of the newborn and severe retinal detachment. These are the most complex and dangerous diseases, often leading to vision loss. Time was lost, and the diseases almost led to complete blindness of Muhammadyusuf.
In August, the baby underwent his first operation to restore his vision in his homeland, in Tashkent.
In September, two operations are scheduled at the LOGBUZ - one on each eye.
The family is unable to pay for the ophthalmological operations necessary for the child.
