Milana was born prematurely, she had a brain edema. Because of this, the girl has many diagnoses: cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, disability. The girl has been suffering from epileptic seizures of unknown nature since birth.
It seemed that thanks to treatment epilepsy was defeated, but at the age of 2.8 Milana's seizures returned with a new force. The girl lost all the skills she had developed by that age. She had to start all over again.
Milana receives medications and regularly undergoes rehabilitation, but the disease will not be defeated until the cause is discovered.
To do this, Milana needs to undergo a comprehensive genetic analysis - genome sequencing. The analysis will help to identify the cause of epilepsy - whether it is genetic or structural. Depending on the nature of the disease, doctors will adjust the treatment and can ease the course of the disease
