Little Anya lives in the ward of the Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology. She had just been in the treatment room, where a nurse was inserting a catheter into a tiny child’s arm. Anya is a brave little girl and did not cry. Despite her age, she understands: she needs to be patient. He also knows that after the unpleasant procedure, the guys from the neighboring wards will invite you to draw. Anya is one of several dozen children who are currently being treated for cancer at the Children's Oncology Center. Every day children undergo many medical procedures: IVs, tests, punctures. All this is already painful and scary for the child, and due to unsuitable catheters, simple IVs become even more painful. It is important to us that the department always has high-quality medical products that are suitable specifically for children and make unpleasant procedures easier. Currently, the department has a need for central venous catheterization kits. These catheters allow the administration of medications, nutrients, blood products and fluids into a large vein and are used in critical cases when the child needs emergency care.
