Sasha is 9 years old. Since 2020, he has been fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The child has undergone several courses of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and a bone marrow transplant. Sasha's recovery after the transplant has been difficult, with complications such as skin and liver GvHD (graft-versus-host disease), drug-induced diabetes, pancreonecrosis, and organic brain damage.
