Since birth, Ali has lived in the shadow of hospitals. As early as one month old, the boy was diagnosed with dangerous shifts in all important blood counts, cytomegalovirus, BCGitis, enlarged lymph nodes and chronic inflammation.

It later turned out that all of these diseases were just part of a systemic failure. Ali was diagnosed with congenital immunodeficiency, a rare genetic mutation in the immune system. The boy's body is completely defenseless against any, even the most innocuous infections.

In July, Ali underwent a bone marrow transplant - it was the only way to stop the complications from developing. Fortunately, the transplant was successful and the donor cells took root. But now it is important to continue to support Ali's body to prevent a rejection reaction.
