Thank you for your help in paying for Albina's surgery! She has congenital cataracts and other serious vision problems, including a torn retina and damaged optic nerve. Albina's treatment has been very long and expensive, involving flights and costly procedures. And your support gave Albina a chance for a full life, and the parents thank you from the bottom of their hearts for your kindness and responsiveness! With the unspent funds we managed to help the boy Ilya to undergo an examination. Ilya was born a normal baby, but two weeks after returning from the maternity hospital his eyes stopped opening. They were cloudy and of different sizes. The ophthalmologist diagnosed Ilya with congenital glaucoma in both eyes and announced the verdict - blindness. In Kazakhstan, where Ilya lives with his parents, they could not help him with treatment. For two and a half years Ilya has been undergoing treatment with an ophthalmic surgeon in St. Petersburg to save his sight. Thanks to your support, Ilya is now able to undergo the necessary examinations. We are immensely grateful for your help and kindness!
