Every animal that comes to our shelter undergoes procedures to create a new groomed image. Grooming for street animals is not a story about beauty, but about comfort and health. Scabs, dirt, parasites, wounds are common problems for every cat and dog that enters the shelter. Our foundation often organizes field meetings with potential owners and tail wards, where every tail should look well-groomed, and the foundation's dog groomer talks about the character, temperament and successes in learning commands.
In order to groom safely and effectively, we need professional tools. These include a claw grinder, which can be used to quickly and safely tidy up the claws so the animals can move around without discomfort. A clipper will quickly get animals out of discomfort, gently removing felted hair while minimizing stress. Hair clippers are an indispensable tool for precise removal of coils and working with wool in hard-to-reach areas.
We are asking for your help in raising funds to purchase these tools. Every donation you make will allow us to make the lives of street cats and dogs a little better. The faster and better we can care for the animals, the faster they will recover and have a chance to find a long-awaited home!
