Sometimes it gets worse, and doctors again connect him to a ventilator. Two weeks ago, a complication arose - pneumonia. Because of it, the baby cannot breathe on his own, so he was again connected to a ventilator. The boy's condition remains stably serious. It is further complicated by a malfunction of the left ventricle. The blood circulates unevenly and stagnates. The medical council decided to perform another emergency surgery and install a special balloon that equalizes the pressure in the heart chambers.
